    Unusual Bulbs

        Welcome to Pitcairn Alpines. Ordering for the main selection of bulbs is now open. Last date for ordering is 1st august 2013. Many bulbs are in short supply and the more popular items sell out quickly. This year has been very late and it has been difficult assesing what will be ready for sale by the autumn. Additions and plugs maybe added at a later date.

    All the bulbs are grown by ourselves and should be of flowering size unless stated.
    The bulbs are all lifted near to dispatch and are sent out in August for most of them and September for the others. Last orders 1st August
    We are able to take online  credit card payments or if you prefer you can order online and then send in a cheque, details are given at the checkout . If there is anything you are not sure about send an email with your enquiry or give us a phone. Send us an email if you would like a copy of our paper catalogue.

    Connoisseur's selection
    Due to high demand and wishing to be fair to all our customers we are offering the following speciality plants on a restricted number basis. You will be able to order a maximum of 2 plants per species from this category. We apologies for this inconvenience but these plants are slow to propagate and multiply to sufficient numbers.

    Seed packetsSeed packets
    We are hoping to have a selection of seed collected by responsible collectors from western USA surplus to our requirements in July 2013. We are offering them as fresh as possible so that they can be sown in the Autumn which is the optimal time for most bulb seed. These seed are not collected by ourselves but should be true to name. Delivered in August and September.
