A tall American lily with large well spotted orange flowers. This lily will grow in a sunny position in a mixure of grit and humus. These are 2 year old seedlings from the San Jacinto mountains and hopefully will flower in the summer of next year. According to Synge's Lily book, lilies from this area should be slightly smaller about 1 metre and have the varietal name Lilium humboldii var. bloomerianum. So far they are growing well in our Scottish climate.
